Thank you!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of AIDS Community Services of Western New York, (ACS). By giving their time and talent, our volunteers ensure that ACS continues to succeed in providing the services that our clients depend on. With more than 1,500 volunteers working with ACS every year, it is important that we thank those who give their time, and we share other opportunities with those who want to give back.

Volunteer positions include offering professional services and programs. ACS provides a comprehensive center for HIV care located in the heart of those communities hardest hit by AIDS. We provide case management, short-term counseling, support groups, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, nutrition services, HIV testing and counseling, community education, library resources, AIDS information line, and other volunteer opportunities.

Thank you to all of those volunteers who give their time and talent to our organization. It is only with your support that we are able to continue to provide medical, supportive and prevention services in a comprehensive model that encourages individuals to take responsibility for their health and quality of life.

As our way of saying thank you for all that you do we would like to invite you to a Barbeque Lunch on May 30th Lakeside at Delaware Park at 1:00 pm just after our AIDS Walk 2009 event.

In order to make sure we have enough food please RSVP by May 21st 2009 via e-mail at acsvolunteer@yahoo.com or give me (Liz O’Dell) a call at 716.332.2286 ext. 371.
